Dr. Cyrus M. Shahriary
A board-certified lung, immunology and allergy specialists, Dr. Cyrus Shahriary specializes in caring for patients with asthma, chronic cough, obstructive sleep apnea and chronic lung diseases caused by premature births.
His goal in treatment is to help his patients breathe easier, and he works closely with their parents to determine which treatment will not only be most effective, but is also in the child’s best interest.
Born and raised in Iran, Dr. Cyrus Shahriary achieved his medical degree from Ghazvin Medical School and completed his residency at Tehran-Iran’s pediatric residency program. After graduation, he worked as a pediatric attending in the Children’s Hospital of Tehran, before moving to the United States to become specialized in pediatric pulmonary diseases.
Once he arrived in the United States, Dr. Shahriary completed his pediatric residency program at MMC Children and Infant’s Hospital in Brooklyn, before completing his fellowship training in pediatric pulmonary at UCI–Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach. From there, Dr. Cyrus Shahriary became actively involved in treating and caring for pediatric and adolescent patients with pulmonary diseases and cystic fibrosis at the Pulmonary Department of Miller Children’s Hospital and the Lung & Allergy Institute of Los Angeles.
